Dafan has been working at the forefront of technology for over two decades. His interest in technology and computing from childhood led him on the path to a successful career as a technology professional at the dawn of the Web. He has served in many capacity in the tech space from system administrator to software engineer. Over the years, Dafan has worked with Fortune 500 companies as well as early stage startups.
Dafan is HBCU Professor of Business and Entrepreneurship, tech entrepreneur, and attorney with a passion for education, entrepreneurship, law, technology, business, and policy.
A former homeless HS dropout, Dafan is a dreamer, fighter, & advocate against inequality. His drive, determination, and grit empowered him to get off the streets, into the halls of an Ivy League institution, and ultimately to a position to educate and inspire others like him so they can reach their full potential.
Dafan’s passion for entrepreneurship and innovation and his broad skill set naturally positioned him in the perfect position to help empower others through entrepreneur education. Dafan is dedicated to educating and supporting future diverse entrepreneurs aspiring to achieve their limitless potentials.
Dafan graduated first in class with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from West Chester University. Dafan holds a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He also holds a Master of Administration from the University of Pennsylvania Fels Institute of Government, as well as a Certificate in Business, Economics and Public Policy from the Wharton School. He is a member of the bar of Pennsylvania and New York.
